We are seeking a vibrant marketing intern to join our team, where you'll thrive in a dynamic position requiring a high level of independence under supervision while engaging in diverse projects. Our emphasis on a service-oriented mindset is as significant as your professional prowess. The primary responsibilities encompass website and social media management, the creation and development of newsletters, marketing collaterals, invitations, press releases, and other communication send-outs. Moreover, your role extends to the active promotion of the Chamber, the orchestration and execution of various Chamber events, and the handling of routine administrative tasks. This position serves as a platform for fostering creativity and solution-oriented thinking, encouraging the trainee to take on challenges within the realms of marketing and event management. We are specifically seeking an individual who is not only willing but eager to spearhead and drive projects in the fields of marketing and event management. The ideal candidate would possess skills and/or a keen interest in graphic design, providing an added advantage to contribute creatively to our endeavors.

Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

Swedish citizenship or strong ties to Sweden (for U.S. visa purposes).

Excellent verbal and written skills in both Swedish and English.

Familiarity with website management, social media platforms, and digital marketing strategies.

A creative mindset with the ability to contribute innovative ideas to marketing and event projects.

Interest or experience in organizing and executing events, from planning to implementation.

While not mandatory, skills or a keen interest in graphic design would be an added advantage.

This is a six-month internship starting in July of 2024. The internship does not provide monetary compensation as SACC-USA is a non-profit organization. As an intern abroad, you can apply for scholarships. Depending on the university program, some students may also be eligible for student aid from CSN. SACC-USA will assist with the visa application process. To be eligible for a J-1 visa, you must be a Swedish citizen. This position provides a unique opportunity to gain valuable real-world experience and business-related skills, while also developing a professional international network. Working in a highly inspirational atmosphere and collaborating with industry leaders and professionals across various business sectors will allow you to acquire new experiences and enhance your skills. You will gain insight into how business is conducted in the U.S., as well as improve your English speaking and writing skills. Developing an understanding of U.S. customs and culture and becoming adept at cross-cultural communication are invaluable skills for your future career.
